The right car is going to feel right; I just have to be patient.

Getting new boots that fit great and look great make me surprisingly happy.

Work is a lot more fun when I don’t dread the boss.

Don’t keep moving a project along when your not comfortable, even if it’s at the last minute.

Maybe I’ve built enough trust to finally get people on board to make the necessary changes.

Hurtful words cut deep, but staying in control keeps me from regrets afterward.

Good things happen when you move your feet on defense, dive for loose balls, and get back on the fast break.

Giving me options that work for me and treating me like a friend you care about makes me want to give you my business every time!

It’s easy to criticize your teammates or your friends or your family but that doesn’t make things (or you) better.

I think I would be happier working for someone who showed appreciation for what I do.  Right now, it’s never “Good Job” or even a simple “Thanks”.

Staying up until 1:30am working on her presentation, fixing her wiper blades, and (of course) flowers say “I take care of you.”

If you’re going to lock your keys in the car, do it near a dealer during business hours when your insurance agent is around to help and you can get a ride from a co-worker.

Our culture tries to convince us that fathers (on earth and in heaven) make a lot of stupid rules to keep us from having fun.  The truth is that fathers – especially Heavenly fathers – love us unconditionally and want what’s best for us.

Seems like I’m making progress in my relationship with Son #2.  Nice to see him moving forward and achieving some goals.

If both you and your wife think it’s cold in the house, check the furnace for problems.

And if there is a problem be thankful its not that cold outside, it’s a week day, you were home, you had wood for a fire, the service guys could come right away, it wasn’t that much to fix, etc.

It’s getting really tiresome (and expensive) to have cars in the shop at least once a month.
