It’s humbling to receive praise from a coworker you didn’t think particularly liked what you were doing.
Fun to be the driver/chaperone on the outing to the symphony, Ford Museum, and “behind the scenes” tour of the Diocesan administration.
Getting a raise and asked to be the next president in January apparently do not prevent getting fired in February! Really!?
And only 3 days severance!? Really!?
I think when they say they want to “understand it” before they do it, they really mean “agree with it”.
It’s really fun to play with the 3-yr-old and see how he thinks but hard to stay in the moment and not get distracted.
The weirdness wears off a little over time – but it’s still weird.
Bad roads and bad weather are a lot less stressful when you’ve already planned to take the day off.
A lot gets done when you stay focused totally on work when you’re at work.
